    This is the part that chaps me the most. The guy sat right there and stated in plain English that "if you're not playing this weekend, your position won't change." I guess now we'll need to debate about what the word "won't" means.

    I have this gut feeling that even if Clemson had blown SMU out 77-3, this committee would have still let SMU in because, "we stand on PRINCIPLE!"

    This. As much as I hate it, maybe, just maybe, the answer going forward is to not lose to VANDY, then fail to get in the end zone once against a bad Oklahoma team.
