Who else noticed this on Germie Bernard's game winning score?

This is a fireable offense in my book.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly….. USCe style:

Good: Championship teams are championship teams because they win games like this. Bad: Dropsy by the receivers and the yips by the QB. Settle down, y'all. Ugly: Pass protection. The old Proctor came back.

Trump's Attack on the First Amendment

I've come to be pretty ticked off at Brendan Carr. Nexstar and Sinclair struck this match, not Carr. There may be other station owners that are not publicly traded who are just as upset. They don't owe their shareholders an SEC Form 8 or press release for telling ABC to tone Kimmel down or...

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly…. Warhawk Style:

Good: Outstanding QB play by everyone who took a snap at that position for the entire game. That 20-straight completion streak was historic. That will be a popular subject of trivia questions for decades to come. Bad: That was a ticky-tack targeting call on Dre Jr. That call should only be...

News Article: CBS Sports John Talty article on CKD

Stallings, too. In fact, all three of these men won championships with teams that dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Yesterday, Alabama was the one dominated--on both sides of the ball.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly-Seminole style:

Good: Ty Simpson played above his pay grade. Bad: Bama was owned up front almost all day. FSU started to show fatigue in the 2nd half but it was too late. Ugly: Wommack must have studied at the Golding School of Gentle Tackling. Bama's defensive backfield tackled like they were scared. It...

Reliaquest Bowl for Bama and Michigan

What bowl is Auburn playing in?

JessN: Tennessee preview: Vols, Tide both have identity crises

The team that runs the football and plays defense better than his opponent usually wins, especially at home. Dang it.

According to Mike Griffith Alabama is a second tier football program

1-5. Methinks he doth protest too much. The 2024 SEC Championship is Bama's 30th. That is more than Georgia (14) and Tennessee (13) combined.

    Film Study: DeBoer's offense (video)

I hear what you're saying and I don't think UW made bank by playing patsies. I just think that without a lot of data from games with common opponents, the jury in my court is still out on how well CKD's offense will perform week in and week out against these defenses. Things are just done...

What will it be? Stadium or Field?

Minor nit: It was Denny Stadium from the time it opened in 1929. President Denny left in 1932. The Legislature changed it to Bryant-Denny in 1975 and Coach Bryant led his teams there until his retirement (so there's precedent for honoring still-living and still-serving heroes).

    Film Study: DeBoer's offense (video)

I agree. Oregon doesn't field beastly defenses like UGA, UT or even Arky. It would be nice to see how UW fared against better talented defenses but I'm not sure they faced more than one or two since DeBoer took over there.

Based on what I've seen here, Milroe will have an uphill battle to keep his job. This is not his skill set (yet).

    Talk of Kelly To Michigan?

I understand. That "Open Season" thing still creates uncertainty in a young fella's mind. Maybe more so on the defensive side of the field. Even a little bit of uncertainty might make the difference.

    Talk of Kelly To Michigan?

Seriously, when does the portal open for UM? The day after the head coach leaves or when his successor is introduced? I ask because UM has a quaint rule that a new coach can't be hired right away because it has to be announced and trigger a 7-20 day open opportunity.

    Lane Kiffin to Meechegan.

    Transfer Portal 2023-2024...

The Tolkien-esque tone to this comment gives me chills.
