Well I'm back in Alabama for Christmas and I'm taking my two girls to the Mercer game tonight. Haven't been to a basketball game in over 18 years. I'd like some suggestions on where to eat before the game. Any help? :biga:

I have a question for some of you in the know about Alabama High School sports. My daughter entered the 10th grade at Indian Springs High School in B'ham this fall. She grew up over here in Saudi Arabia, and there is really no school alternative past the 9th grade. So my company pays the kids...

The Ala/LSU is on TV here in Saudi. The good part is I get to watch to Tide live. The bad news is the game comes on at 3:45 am my time and then I have to go to work. :biggrin2:

FWIW, the Transatlantic representative, Saudi Arabia, is made up mainly of boys from my residential community in Dhahran. The manager, James Durley, and his son live two houses down from me. Two other boys live on the street behind me. They beat Canada tonight. :biggrin2:

Just wondering...Why did AU start practice earlier than we did if their first game is 9/2 like ours? I think we were the last SEC school to start fall practice. :conf2:
