    I would buy 4. That will be easier to find, and would give you comfortable space for 3 people (provided none of the 3 weigh over 123 lbs or larger than a 28 inch waist.)

    Exactly. Is the player saying that he had never been TOLD it was wrong prior to transferring out of aTm? The NCAA ought to make an example of him and REVOKE his eligibility, instead of granting him immediate release to another school to play this fall.
