    This sounds like analytics in baseball. Everyone is swinging for the fences because statistically hitting home runs is more productive than hitting singles, sacrifice bunts, and stolen bases. The drawback is that batting averages are down and strikeouts are way up.

    One thing sticks out to me about the conduct of the PTB. They got the school in trouble for their prior meddling. They backed off for a while, but now they are back at it with a vengeance.
