I was happy to see that we were #1 in Total Defense, the past two games helped us a lot. So while we have identified some softer spots, you don't end up #1 unless you are well rounded. Roll Tide!

I congratulate them!

Good for them, not bad for a defense that lost so much. Glad Auburn was the team that helped our numbers. Haha.
Very good point. It is nearly remarkable that they could pull it off after losing underclassman to the draft. It was easier to manage/recruit players when they stayed 4 years. We were fortunate to plug the holes in the secondary.

How many Bama players left early for the draft between 1980 and 2006? Maybe 3?. McCants was a big story when he left early in the late 80's. Even Alexander stayed for his senior year. I have always agreed with players leaving if they were going high in the draft.

i think that everyone thinking that we will be facing some sort of otherworldly defense from Georgia should go look at their defensive rankings, then go look at their opponents this year (it was a weak schedule)

Watching the Georgia-Georgia Tech broadcast, you would think Jarvis Jones was a Heisman candidate.

Georgia is too inconsistent, always have been with Richt.

My ying and yang.

Ying = We seem to have their number other than 07
Yang = Please no more career days for an opposing QB!

This will be the biggest game for our defense this year. Take that #1 ranking and put some pressure on the QB.

Yah, AJ is currently ranked #2 in the country in passing efficiency @ 176.26.

But Murray is currently ranked #1 in the country in passing efficiency @ 177.15. We HAVE to affect him.

Any idea of Murray's efficiency vs UF and USCe?

Eric Zeier comes to mind :) Very accurate and can throw some bullets. He's 6'1 which has limited a lot of NFL hype imo, but that size is not a handicap in college.

He could be a mismatch for us since we don't have a Clowney type player. This could be our most difficult game of the season, but unlike the aTm game, we know more about this team and should be more focused!

This is a game where the 3-4 could have problems again if he gets too much time.

And wasn't this supposed to be our "weak" spot this year? I like being this "weak"!

Georgia is peaking at the right time and I think they'll pack the dome with their fans. I think it will be a much tougher game than some of you think.

I really have not seen a lot of folks posting this will be an easy game. But as a group I think we are all confident that we will come out on top next Saturday.
