I hate to say Baylor is a must win, but it probably is. It could come down to them or us getting in so it would be big to beat them on their home court. We play at 11 Saturday morning. My son is actually going.
I just looked at Baylor's schedule and could not believe we have 5 common opponents. We are 5-0 and Baylor is 2-3. They are

Southern (win)
Wichita St (loss)
AZ (win)
Stephen F Austin (loss)
Ole Miss (loss)

We should win this game but with it being a road game you never know.

Going off the NET rankings after Saturday's games, Alabama is #43 (#8 in the SEC).

The remaining schedule provides for quality wins and some horrible losses:

29
@27
88
@93
@29
37
@108
93
@113
16
27
@69

Granted, these rankings will change as the season progresses, but it gives a good idea of what Alabama faces the rest of the way.

Figure out a way to win against every team lower than 60 and we should be in. That would be six more wins and four of them on the road. Anything else would be gravy.

So much for that.
We blew a golden opportunity. We were tired getting in after midnight, and didn't get to have a shoot around. That might have made a difference, but we simply got out hustled. We let a smaller team who shoots 3's and rebounds(exactly what Auburn does BTW) and get 50% of their misses. We were in poor rebounding position most of the time. We just fundamentally got blocked out on the boards. This was a game we should have won. Losing in close games does nothing for you in the eyes of the committee. A loss is a loss and and win is a win. Either we get our act together now beginning Tuesday night, or play in the not invited tournament. We have to go IMHO 8-4 the rest of the way.

If we go 8-4 rest of the way, we’ll be more than in. Seed might get us above the 8/9 though which would be nice
