I hate playing OU. It seems we tend to meet them when we don’t have our best team. If we played year after year I think we would win slightly more than we would lose.

and Auburn will be paying Gus $50,000,000 a year to be their lifetime coach.
Gus might not be a LifeTime Coach, but it would seem like it to half their fan base.

(Yeah, I took a shot... ) :)

Lol. Bama is scheduling second games in Tuscaloosa. Will schedule NS game when, not if, those schools buy out of the return game.

They did the same thing to our campus the year they came that moreno Stafford were on the team. I never in my life saw that much trash on the quad. It was unbelievable.

I just can't really get excited about something that:
a) I'll be ready for Medicare
b) nobody associated with either program now is likely to be involved
c) may never even happen (we've had home/home series either moved - Penn St - or dropped, Notre Dame/Ga Tech/ Michigan St)
d) the CTE verdict may have us playing flag football

The only real big name opponent that I've not seen us play (at least on TV) is Nebraska, who is no longer a big deal.

Thank god we aren’t considering Nebraska. I really would have 0 excitement in it because the Shucker fans would be intolerable.

There was some talk a few months back that Nebraska was in the works.

Well I’m preparing to delete all of my social media outlets and blocking every 402 number in the phone book because that is my worst nightmare.

I’d love to schedule a series with Nebraska. We both have a shared history and tradition. Given the current state of both programs, I cannot understand any Bama fans’ opposition
to renewing the series.

Live with them and you’ll start to love sharing a state with Auburn fans. Nebraska fans are about the dumbest and most obnoxious fans I’ve ever been around. Tradition be derned I don’t want to ever see them on our schedule ever again.

I get what you are saying, but Lincoln Riley is very young. I could very possibly see him at OU 15 years from now.
Doubt it - if he wins enough, he'll almost certainly try the NFL.

If he doesn't win enough, he'll be coaching at some other college program by then.

I'm not a gambler, but I'd be willing to bet most anything against LR being at OU in 13 years.

I'd try to get excited about this, but I'm likely dead and gone by then. I hope y'all enjoy the games though.
