I live in Lafayette, LA, the home of cajungrocer.com, and have known one of the owners from childhood. We had some of their live crawfish shipped to us in Austin, TX over the weekend at one of our daughters homes and I have to tell you that from order to eating it was the most enjoyable experience I've had with food in a long time.
The crawfish were the most beautiful I have seen this year (and I live in the Atchafalaya Basin), and they arrived in a strofoam container with ice-slush packs and were as fresh and lively as fresh caught.
Along with the crawfish were seasoning packets and instructions for exactly how to handle them from purging to cooking. It was so easy.........a caveman could do it.
