Grilled Balsamic Vidalia Onion

Stuff onion with butter, the amount of garlic or garlic powder you prefer
Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste
Place onion on sheet of aluminum foil
Drizzle with Balsamic Vinegar
Replace onion top to cover
Wrap in foil
Place on heated grill for 1-1 1/2 hours in indirect heat

I do mine a little different, no garlic.

Cut top off, hollow out a hole in middle, fill with butter and honey. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, wrap in foil and cook on grill till soft. Open up the foil and drizzle with balsamic vinegar or port wind reduction.
