Since I moved away, I haven't been able to keep up with my Alma Mater. Anyone have any info on how they are projected to do this year?

I think they've really sucked in past years, but hey, you never know!

Two years ago Brookwood made a serious run at the state title. going undefeated in the regular season. Unfortunantly last year was a complete reversial of the previous year.

There will be more experience on this years team but that may not be saying much.

In other words, the jury is still out.

jim, I don't think they were undefeated that year but they did make it to the semis, I believe. I don't understand why Brookwood and Hillcrest haven't fielded some of the better teams in the county lately. Especially Hillcrest with the way everything is growing out HWY 69. If they get some really good coaching they should be able to turn that program into a powerhouse.

Thanks, guys, for the info. Its hard to get news up here. Even the Tuscaloosa News doesn't seem to have good HS coverage on line. Keep me posted!
