Dredge beef tips in seasoned flour then brown in a dutch oven in a couple tbsp oil. Add onion, garlic and sliced or chopped mushrooms and continue to cook till onions are translucent about 5-7 min. Add enough water to barely cover the meat, bring to a boil then cover the pot and lower the heat to low setting. You can do this in a slow cooker also.
