Well, the regular season in softball is pretty much just the practice for SEC tournament play and, hopefully, the World Series. That's when they start getting the love.for having such a good womens softball team, i am surprised there is so little coverage.
Here's a link to the official U of A athletics website: rolltide.comSorry, but I can't get any news up here in Missouri on the good teams (SEC) so had to ask.
Yes, the Bama softball teams play UGA tomorrow in the SEC tourney semi-final. The other half is that the AU girls play UT in the other semi-final game. The winners of those two games will play in the SEC Championship game, I believe on Saturday.Won 5-1 over MSU tonight. 3 run HR in the 5th sealed it.
Play Jawjuh tomorrow at 4:30.

Been hoping for about a hour rain delay. So I wont have to watch it on delay.I'm going to try and make this afternoon's Bama/UGA game (assuming it's still on, it's been raining and lightning here most of the morning...that may push the Auburn/UTe game back), and tomorrow's championship game if we make it. I'll try and post occasional updates here (or in a new in-game thread perhaps).
Still set to go at 4:30p according to the SEC:Been hoping for about a hour rain delay. So I wont have to watch it on delay.
Storms forming north and south of Oxford (not to mention right over the swollen MS River), and grey clouds building up in Oxford. Maybe you'll get that rain delay after all:Been hoping for about a hour rain delay. So I wont have to watch it on delay.
