    Dear Lord,

Whatever sin it is that you have to commit to get punished with coaching at auburn, it must be a doozie. PLEASE tell me what it is so I NEVER COMMIT IT!!

    Amen

You guys are so bad, but funny as hell. Keep the laughs coming. Got to clean the ice tea off my computer screen, excuse me.

My atheist friend asked me how an all good, all loving God can send someone to ****. Next time I'll tell him to ask Chizik.

"God" may have open the door for his appointment to *U, but it is his deal with the devil that will be his downfall.
The quote of the week came when Upshaw noted the AU coaching staff was still recruiting him. “They said I could come to AU and be another Quentin Groves. I told them that I could go to Alabama and be another Quentin Groves,” he said.

Wow! God and his profound love of AU over everyone else in the entire college football world. Is AU the "chosen" team. Will no one else ever be better than AU. Was Cam also chosen by God and sent there to win a NC. Are there more players sent to AU by God....

Strippers, big cat weekend, buying recruits, lying or deflecting doesn't come from the God I read about. Can't do this kind of stuff for very long. The sweater vest could have waited a few months for his story to break in my opinion. I guess I'm just too close to too many aubies for my own comfort.

Chizik is absolutely right. His hiring at *U is proof that God loves all Alabama fans and wants us to be happy.

"A long way," he said after being asked how far the Crimson Tide had come since Coach Nick Saban arrived three years ago. "I guess you could say it's the distance from Shreveport to Pasadena."

Do you think that he would want to be called Pope Cheezitbarner the 1st? Let's all bow our heads and pray the gray smoke does not come out of the AU athletic building anytime soon.

Re: In His New Book, Chizik Says His Move to AU Was an "Appointment by God"

This reminded me of a true story I heard about a preacher. He was trying to decide if God was calling him to preach. So, one morning as he was walking to the barn to milk he asked the Lord for a sign. "Lord, if you are calling me to preach then let the cow kick the milk bucket over while I am milking."

Well, the cow kicked the bucket over and he became a preacher.

I would have wanted a different sign. It is not an uncommon thing for a cow to kick the milk bucket. Ours used to kick it a few times a year. Chiz reminded me of that story by not realizing the Auburn probram was in a bad way after all the Jetgate and Tubby trouble with the new spread and Tony Franklin mess. I am no authority on how God works and the signs he uses, I am just saying I would have wanted a sign that does not occur by natural circumstances.

I do not believe in atheists, therefore they do not exist.

*U should schedule a pre season game with Notre Dame each year to see which team God loves the
most. The winner would receive the prestigious Bobby Lowder trophy and have the inside track to the NC.

I think history will show Chiznik to be a 6-6 coach with a Cam Newton asterik.
