  • It re-writes history. If the wins are vacated, should the individual statistics be vacated as well? Chris Lowe wrote a good article on the tactic, which includes a great quote from Roger Schultz.

I get mixed messages from my searches. What is the ncaa total for Alabama wins?

I think Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Nebraska are ahead of Alabama, right?

NCAA made Bama vacate (pretend we didn't win) 21 wins for the ridiculous text book scandal in early 2000's.
NCAA made Bama forfeit 8 wins and a tie in 1993 for mishandling Antonio Langham signing with an agent and changing his mind.

On the field.. Bama is second to Michigan on total wins and first in winning percentage.

Though the 1993 games were considered forfeit (considered an Alabama loss) while the book scandle games are vacated (no one "won").
