I recently read an interview with Robert Kirkman (writer of the Walking Dead comics) and he said he has at least 300 issues planned. If he gets to 300 and feels like doing more, he'll keep going.

I did the math and season 5 correlated with roughly comic issue #75. Issue #148 just came out last week.

Issue #1 = October 2003
Issue #150 = January 2016
Issue #300 = April 2028?

If 5 seasons equals 75 comics, 300 comics equals 20 seasons.

Season 1 = Ended December 2010
Season 20 = End March 2030?

How in the world are they going to reconcile all of this? Keeping a show on the air for 20 years seems impossible. Keeping the public interested in a show for 20 years seems impossible. The kid that plays Carl will be the same age Andrew Lincoln was when the show started.

The guy who held Daryl hostage this past episode, who went unnamed, has officially been named.......Dwight (and the woman he was with is officially Sherry). Yep, ladies and gents the show is now on the onset of the Negan story line. So Dwight taking off with Daryl's crossbow cements his character because in the books Dwight carries a crossbow, not unlike Daryl.
