I enjoyed the premier. The scenes with the horde of walkers was really fun to watch.
I know a lot of people seem to have lost interest, but I am really enjoying the Negan saga. Glad they are gearing up to take them on again.

looks like we will actually get some continuity and actually pick up where we left off last week instead of having to wait 5 episodes to find out.
Watching "The Outlaw Josey Wales" on TCM right now - will switch over to TWD at 9....this is one of Clint's best movies, IMHO....he directed it too...
That reunion between Carol and Daryl was great. I wish Carol would get back to the way she used to be.

So Carol still doesn't know about Glenn. She is really going to be a wreck when she finds out. I understand why he didn't tell her.
So my husband didn't start watching every episode until the start of last season...I think. I am trying to tell him how different it was in the other seasons...where you didn't know if a character would survive week to week.
It is so different now...I wonder why they slowed that down. Maybe since we lost such a big character to start off this season.

possibly but has gotten to a snails pace now. If grunty mcredneck had told Carol, she would have gotten all Road Warrior and killed all of the Saviours and the season would be over.

Funny you should mention Road Warrior.....that's what some of these "Scavenger" characters remind me of....
too tall. and I cannot get passed the fact that her character chooses to live in garbage. plus I don't trust her group.
Let me guess...Tara will go back on her deal with those crazy women in the woods. Remember..they have a bunch of weapons.
5' 11"...I had to look it up. Doesn't seem all that tall. Anyway tall women need love too....
