Montgomery won a battle or two, but Kouandjio and Alabama ultimately won the war. Montgomery, who is projected to be a top 10 selection in next year's NFL Draft, picked up LSU's only sack, but Kouandjio graded out at a team-best 89 percent.
Kouandjio, who was one of Alabama's seven players of the week, said he and Montgomery exchanged plenty of trash talk throughout the game, but shook hands and left the field with mutual respect for each other.
