Whichever Aggie that said your DE's are slow knows nothing about football and probably should keep their opinions to themselves. I do think that we'll score some points on you, I know it might sound crazy...but I think we will get around 28 points on you. Unfortunately, I think we'll give up 42 or more points. So therefore, I think the score will be 42-28 with Alabama winning the game in the second half. Our (A&M's) defense is good, but we have almost zero quality depth and we'll get worn down by your starters and depth (most of whom could be starters for other major programs). I grew up watching Alabama football and have always wanted you all to win. My sister attended your school and graduated with 2 degrees, so Bama holds a soft spot in my heart. Too bad for me, they will break my heart if they beat my Aggies. I do think that we'll give you one heck of a game though, or at least hope so.
This is surprising to me, considering that they are a "COW COLLEGE". They are the Auburn of Texas.I was browsing some of their boards...and I am surprised they were making fun of the state of Alabama. I thought they were better than that...but nope. I am from Texas, so I definitely don't like their representation.
While it is certainly not out of the realm of possibility that A&M beats Alabama, I don't expect it to happen this time. However, they way Sumlin appears to be building things there, and the way other programs in the West appear to be going, A&M is going to be in prime position to play for an SEC title sooner rather than later.Whichever Aggie that said your DE's are slow knows nothing about football and probably should keep their opinions to themselves. they cant score if they dont have the ball, and unlike LSU we'll control the game clock in this oneI agree with A&M getting yards and some points, but 38 points? I really believe we will try to limit the opportunities for them to have the ball by pounding the football with our Oline and RB. That is a favorable match up for us.
The Texas A & M campus in College Station is not even close to comparing with the University of Alabama campus in Tuscaloosa. UA has a beautiful campus. ATM is just plain UGLY!:BigA:Ever been to the great Bryan/College Station consolidated metropolitan area? It's a bigger version of Auburn/Opelika with a slightly higher ratio of beltbuckle weight/tooth (lbs. per unit). However, they do lead the nation in the production of hubris and radiators for 2-cycle air-cooled lawnmowers.
So, we've had a Barn East and now we have a Barn West.TexAgs is a joke. Went on there one time when aTm came to the SEC and I quickly realized why UT fans can't stand them. They were all talking about how BAMA was like Texas. They all were kissing AU's butt, saying how they had so much in common with the barn. On a side, I can't believe the idiots that pay to listen/watch Billy Liucci's show. He is proof any idiot can have a show on the internet.
Our defense was in base almost all of the LSU game. When we play nickel, I think we have better personnel groupings and match up better against passing games. Nico is a beast, but his one big area struggling is in pass coverage; Nick Perry is also better against the run than the pass and LSU exploited that (in addition to Belue; although I think Belue was in good position most of the time, the ball was just too high for him to reach). To me, that sounds like the opinion of someone who has watched exactly one Bama game this season. It's a similar opinion to a lot of the internet sports writers that just can't grasp that Saturday's game against LSU was the exception, not the rule. Bama will be ready, the secondary in Nickel/Dime situations will be every bit as stingy as they were for the first 8 games, and Manziel will not be able to pull off the plays with his legs to win this game.
