This loss actually hurt UGA almost as bad as it did Alabama. UGA needed a win over an unbeaten #1 Alabama to assure that it would be the top 1-loss team. Now, if Oregon or KSU lose, I'm not sure that UGA will pass them up.
This is where when you lose comes into play big time. We all know UGA got smacked by SC in October (maybe even late Sep) 35-7!
So now all of the sudden their 4 pt win vs. Kentucky and gift by Florida outmatches all we've done?! Just might, all because that happened a month ago.
I'm guessing 5th. We'll be behind all of the other undefeated teams, plus it wouldn't shock me to see UGA as the top ranked 1 loss team with a dominant performance over Auburn.
4 or 5. Doesn't matter since we get UGA. I truely believe USC beats ND. So, if KState or Oregon drop a game, we are in Miami. A lot more likely than us having Iowa St beat Okie State last year.
