I will post an official score thread the week of the game, but I know y'all have thought about the score for some time now. So what is your early score predictions? I'm thinking 34-17 Bama.

btw, my final score is wider than I think the game will be played. It will be a game where we are up 21-13 and it is tenuous...we get a stop, get in field goal range and seal it under 5 minutes to go.

It's kept close early, but we pull away going into halftime. Maybe 17-7 at halftime. Second half adjustments help ND but we finish strong, scoring two touchdowns (both rushing TDs) in the last 5 minutes to remove all doubt.

Bama 37
Notree Dame 13... maybe 16. I like 16.

Us 23-16 late in the game. Notre Dame is worn down and as I said, two more strikes as ND's defense and offense make mistakes, and there you have your game.

I'm thinking 30-20, Bama of course, because both teams bog down and kick FGs. ND has scored 3 TDs per game (36) and kicked 2 FGs per game (24). Bama has scored 65 TDs and kicked 15 FGs. Both defenses are capable of turning the other team's TD drives into FG drives. ND has been especially good at that giving up 10 TDs and 18 FGs. Bama not as good at 18 and 5.

The averages of all of that say 24-18 Bama. 30-20 is close enough.

Well certainly it's way too early to say, but as I've thought about this game I've come to one conclusion. The game will hinge on turnovers. Specifically, Alabama's turnovers. If Alabama does not turn the ball over, Notre Dame has no chance to win this game. If they can force turnovers, or if Alabama makes mistakes, then it will be a toss up and likely will come down to the very end like the LSU, A&M, and Georgia games. And if Notre Dame turns the ball over... it could get ugly.

I think we're going to see a hard fought, tough game. I'd love for it to be 41-14, but Notre Dame is here for a reason. At this point, I'd say something like 27-17 with Alabama tacking on a late score to put it away.

Defense, as we know wins championships, so I am thinking a low scoring make the other team make a mistake game.....Bama wins 22-13

ill say bama in the mid-high 30s and nd in the low to mid teens with most of nd's points in the first half and with 10 of bama's points coming in the 4th quarter

Bama is up about 20-14 late in the game. ND has to punt, which puts Bama inside its own 5. AJ throws out of the endzone to a wide open Coop to make the final 27-14.
