Has Bama Really Had 15 Turnovers this Year?

I do recall TJ and Eddie fumbling a few times. We got spoiled with Mark and Trent on fumbles.
Mark and Trent were so very good at protecting the football. I was never worried when they had the ball in their possession. This year, often times I can recall myself yelling at the TV "protect the ball". That being said, our guys are still fairly good at protecting the ball. We truly were spoiled by those two.

I see something like this and I always have to check out the other team. ND had 23 Takeaways and 14 Turnovers for a +9 margin. Bama , as stated, was 28 and 15 for +13.

In 2009, IIRC, we had 13 turnovers going into the Texas game. But six of those were in two games, 2 against Va Tech & 4 vs S Carolina.

This year we had 15, but that requires context. At least 3 of those were by the second string (1 vs UT and 2 vs Auburn). Another was immaterial, Lacy's fumble on the last play of the first half vs Michigan. Note also that 2 others came immediately after the lightning breakvs Mizzou.

Seven of the 15 were against Top 10 teams: 2 vs UGA and LSU and 3 vs aTm.

I think we'll be ok.

At least one of them was a defensive turnover; a R Lester fumble on an interception return.
