Saban has consulted with both Chris and his family about the pros and cons of playing prior to the SECCG, and had the green light to play him. I fully expected him to play, since we're basically down two WRs in our rotation. However, since he didn't play in that game, I don't see Saban's playing him unless someone else goes down. I know he was the most outstanding WR in the spring game, but he doesn't have big game experience, so he'd be debuting in the biggest game of all...This is why Saban gets paid the big bucks, to make these kinds of decisions.
