If that rule was created for "safety". It should apply to all, such a crock.
Well they had defensive players intentionally trying to rip the player's helmet off after a tackle or during a pile up. So, they started penalizing it and allowing the player to remain on the field if that was the reason his helmet came off.

I think people underestimate Louisville. Most of these boys are Florida born and bred. They all fled when Randy Shannon bounced from the U. Same with Louisville's OC I think. Currently 34 Florida kids on Louisville roster.

Amazing effort on that play by the receiver. I don't how he held onto the ball like that.

Surprised there was no penalty for helmet to helmet.
