Maybe, but when you have two kids 5 and under....it can be anti-therapeutic. Lol. My husband won't be home till right when the game starts...and I need to get my son's homework done with him before the game. Too much to do. ;)
5 ands under have homework? My how times have changed.

Pineapple chili? Sounds good. Have a recipe?
It's pretty awesome, I must say.

Of course, I have a recipe. It's in my head though. Let's see.

1lb Hamburger
Half an onion
Half a red bell pepper
half a habanero chili, be careful

Can of Pinto Beans, Drained
Can of Tomato Sauce, 15oz, I believe
1/2 Packet of McCormick Chili Powder
Small Can of Pineapple Tidbits or Chunks, I prefer Tidbits, my wife prefers chunks

Saute onions and peppers until onion in clear
add beef, brown and drain

Put pintos, Tomato sauce, and chili powder in cooking pot
Add cooked meat and vegetables
Add pineapple with juice

Cook on low on stovetop at least an hour, the longer the better up to four hours

I'm picking up wings from a local place on the way home. I'm also grilling Conecuh sausage dogs and mini french dip sandwiches.
I'm thinking Red Stripe would be a fitting beer for the occasion.
The wifey is making asian cole slaw and we'll pull some home-grown veggies out of the freezer for sides...likely corn on the cob and a pot of peas!! Sweet tea also.

After the game, there might be a bit of Wild Turkey imbibed around the bonfire.

Feeding lots of displaces southern boys tonight at my house for the game.

Started cooking yesterday.

Raw pork butts.

After 10 hours on the smoker at 250 degrees

Fell apart in the pan after I let them rest for 2 hours

All pulled and a light spritzing of a finishing sauce.

Into a covered aluminum pan to be reheated for tonight's game.

Four types of sauces:
1. More finishing sauce--a thin, spicy cider vinegar sauce
2. Spicy BBQ--a thicker, tomato-based sauce with plenty of kick
3. Alabama white sauce--whatever that is, friend is bringing it
4. Plain Kraft BBQ sauce for the kids and sissies
