One interesting this is they have guys from all over the country. With limited scholarships I would focus on the California guys because even one guy getting homesick and deciding to transfer could be devastating. They have recruited from the rankings and have the busts:biggrin:

What up SanJose? I will be so glad when signing day finally gets here..so we can just start over again. :biga2:Great point.
Kiffin does not research their character. He is only recruiting based on "stars".........:rolleye2:Amazing USC has 10 recruits in the class of 100. Can you imagine what they would do with a premier coach?
Even if he did look at character, how the heck would he know how to evaluate it? LolKiffin does not research their character. He is only recruiting based on "stars".........:rolleye2:
They're fun talking points, but Chris Jones illustrates the point that people go unnoticed. Heck, even a current target, Jackson, went largely under the radar because of grade concerns and lack of film. Our staff does a great job of recruiting to our system and expectations (good Vonn Bell article on rivals mentions it). Thompson has said one of the first things he does when talking to a recruit is go over a few questions to see if the kid could "fit in" with what CNS expects.I'm just glad that, for the most part, people seem to no longer be paying these ratings much attention.
