A running back, #10, for Team Blue is injured and attended to on the field. After he leaves the filed, Blue calls time out. During the next down, #10 for Blue runs 20 yds for a TD. Following the score, the head coach for White requests a time out so he can discuss #10's participation with the referee. What should the referee do?

High school rules differ from NCAA or NFL rules in this case. The time-out doesn't affect the eligibility of #10 in this case - he must sit out at least one play. The score is canceled and a 15 yd penalty for illegal participation is enforced. #10 must still sit out for one play.
