Very nice, Audio.

Been a huge EJ fan - since 1970 actually. 43 years now.

When you appreciate the song, even a cover can be appreciated.

Sara does Elton and Bernie proud....

This is a very special song. I heard it for the first time a few weeks ago on Birmingham Mountain Radio.

Have any of y'all ever heard Apocalyptica's tribute to Metallica? Apocalyptica is a cello quarter (or quintet? I forget how many of them there are) that looks like a heavy metal band. Very interesting stuff.

And, Bodhi & Slab, you two have motivated me to fire up the ol' "Coltrane's Greatest Hits" CD tomorrow to further the cultural education of my students.
I concur.

"I've got seven women on my mind
Four that wanna own me
Two that wanna stone me
One says she's a friend of mine

Take it easy
Take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels
Drive you crazy

Lighten up while you still can
Don't even try to understand
Just find a place to make your stand
And take it easy"

No videos to post, but...

Picked up the new Arcade Fire today.

Listening to lots of Christmas music - Bach oratorios, Chanticleer, King's College, Robert Shaw Chorale, Vince Garualdi, etc...

Pretty amazing. Band school teacher having his middle school kids perform an awesome cover of 46 & 2 by Tool. They have quite a few others posted with different kids each but this is by far the best one:

The original for reference:
