Crock Pot Pork & Beans

1 (3-pound) boneless whole pork loin roast, cut in half
1 onion, sliced
3 (15-ounce) cans pork and beans
2 cups spicey barbecue sauce
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup bacon bits (We used real bacon crumbled).






What To Do:

1.Place pork in a 5-quart slow cooker; top with onion slices.
2.In a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients; pour over meat.
3.Cover and cook on high 6 to 8 hours, or until meat is tender. Remove roast; shred with 2 forks. Return meat to slow cooker, mix well, and serve.

This one is surprisingly good. We served it with Pumpernickel Bread.
