Uh. I think you just nailed it. I wouldn't anyone stupid drunk in public. But that is just me.

If you were conducting a job interview and she brought that video ..... would you hire her?
If she seemed capable and competent in the job requirements - absolutely. I really don't care that she drank heavily while at football games in college. Not sure why anyone would.

Anyone who would eliminate potential job candidates strictly on this basis isn't qualified to make hire decisions, IMO.

Review shows Hugh Freeze made at least 12 calls to escort services

Former Ole Miss football coach Hugh Freeze used his university-issued cellphone to call numbers linked to erotic services dating back to at least 2014, records show.

A preliminary review of Freeze's phone records, obtained by ESPN through an open records request, revealed he dialed at least 12 numbers that are associated with online advertisements for female escorts. The calls took place over a 33-month period beginning in April 2014 and usually lasted two minutes or less.

The findings are consistent with what Ole Miss chancellor Jeffrey Vitter announced in July when he said Freeze resigned after confirming to him and athletic director Ross Bjork "a pattern of personal misconduct inconsistent with the standards we expect from the leader of our football team."

This may have already been asked and/or answered in this thread. But if Freeze was calling escort services and it was for him. Where in the world was he meeting them that he wouldn't be recognized? He's a pretty recognizable figure in the south among college football fans. Which I'd say the majority of folks in the south are college football fans for the most part. Or was he hiring them for the players/recruits?

I suspect there are escorts willing to travel - they could easily show up at his hotel room door. I doubt he had a roommate when traveling...

This is the big question, isn't it?

Now, tie that thought process to The Inn at Oxford and propose a reason why the University of Mississippi is no longer a partial owner of that establishment. In the first NOA that business was referred to as "The Inn" which was partially owned by the Univ of Mississippi. In the amended NOA in 2017, that business is referred to as a "third party" establishment in the same charge.

Ole Miss is trying very hard to get September 11 here before anything else can break and Mars keeps hitting them over the head with lie after lie related to phones everyday. I wonder what he might uncover next?

Come on guys, clearly these were 12 misdials. Don’t you just hate it when you are trying to call your local bible store or Christian charity and you get an escort service instead?

I'd like to give him more credit than that. HC's surely aren't the ones making these sort of calls for their players. I'm not shocked that it would happen but it's just so easy to get someone else to make the phone call, especially if those same people are already the ones organizing free merch, cash payouts and other benefits - what's a call to an escort service if you're already the money guy? Doesn't make sense for Freeze to be the one doing that. No - I think they are for him.

He was stupid enough to use his work phone to call escorts in the first place. Does he really deserve more credit?

Just from a realistic angle. We all knew he was dirty so the hookers are no surprise - but given how everything has played out thus far and how dirty work typically goes in these large D1 schools it just seems more likely that a booster or lower-tier staff member would be the one setting guys up with the good time, not the HC.
Every stupid person has their limit. I'm just thinking this is Freeze's. If not I'll make this face:

Gotta respectfully disagree on that, IA.

I have seen nothing to indicate that Hugh Freeze's arrogance and stupidity have any limits whatsoever.

No blue font.

Without evidence that he was purchasing the time of the escorts for players, I'll work under the assumption that he was doing this for the same reason that almost every other person uses escorts - for his own pleasure. This is between him and his wife. I couldn't care less.

If you want Ole Miss to burn for their NCAA infractions, you kinda wanted Freeze on the payroll until the end. Not only did Ole Miss save money because of the escorts, but they look better in the eyes of the NCAA for having taken this action before it was required (because a show cause was/is coming if half of what we have read proves out).

This story has legs not just because of it's lasciviousness, but because OM was hanging their defense on the fact that xCHF was a 'man of character, a man of integrity'.

I agree that one's personal life is just that, but I'll pose the same question I've posted before - if a man will cheat on his wife, who won't he cheat on?

Believe you're the only non-OM person I've read or heard say this. If anything, the firing makes it harder for them. They have to go into the meeting and say "Listen, we fired him because he lied to us about some of his personal affairs, but we promise his football character is immaculate. We trust him when he says he's very compliant."

Good luck with that.

Maybe. Then again it could cut both ways. If I'm the NCAA, I'm saying "Hold on, you had to wait to find hookers' phone numbers before you fired this guy?! And even then, only after a 3rd party lawyer pointed it out to you?! You mean you guys never looked that closely at your own phone records?!". I'm just not sure it helps them a whole lot in the eyes of the NCAA either way, or at least only marginally so.

EDIT: Looks like RTR91 and I were posting the same thoughts simultaneously!
