TUSCALOOSA, AL –
Due to threat of rain on Wednesday evening, Alabama baseball will play a doubleheader with Alcorn State on Tuesday, the two sides announced.

The first game of Tuesday’s twinbill is now scheduled to start at 3 p.m. CT. The two teams will have a 30-minute cooling off period between the two games before the start of the day’s second game, which is currently scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.

Tickets for Wednesday’s originally scheduled contest will now be honored for the first game of the doubleheader at 3 p.m. CT. The tickets issued for Tuesday’s 6:30 p.m. CT contest can be used for the 6 p.m. game.

The 6 p.m. CT game will air live on SECN+ with the 3 p.m. game not being televised.

Alabama and Alcorn State will meet for the 20th and 21st times when the two teams square off on Tuesday. The Crimson Tide owns the all-time advantage, 18-1, and is currently in the midst of a 17-game win streak over the Braves.
