Marquette will visit Georgia this coming men’s basketball season as part of a home-and-home series, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The game in Athens will be in early December and Georgia will play at Marquette in the 2017-18 season, a source told the Sentinel.
Former Duke assistant coach and player Steve Wojiciechowski is entering his third season with the Golden Eagles. Marquette went 20-13 last season including 8-10 in the Big East.
Georgia and Marquette’s only other meeting was on Dec. 27, 1974 in the Milwaukee Classic, a 100-70 Golden Eagles win.
