Georgia has a kickoff time for the debut game in the Kirby Smart era.
The Bulldogs will play North Carolina at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 3 in the Georgia Dome in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game. The game will air on ESPN.
It’s part of a monster opening weekend of attractive nonconference matchups. The kickoff times and networks airing the game were announced Tuesday by ESPN/ABC.
Smart took over a Georgia team that went 10-3 last season. North Carolina went 11-3 last season and reached the ACC title game.
Georgia-North Carolina is part of a triple header on ESPN. Hawaii-Michigan is at noon and Clemson-Auburn follows the Chick-fil-A game at 9 p.m.
