Holy smokes! You couldn't pay me to ride a bike in a large city.
Video's not gory, but it is kinda scary.
not for another 4-6 weeks, but yes.I'm glad you are able to recover. Are you going to keep riding?

Who had the right of way and who had to stop?for the record i was on a bike trail that ran parallel to a main road it happened at a place where a road intersected with the trail.
i had the green light, she was making a right turn. she was ticketed for failure to yield.Who had the right of way and who had to stop?
Aha. Another one who doesn't realize that they're supposed to 'STOP' first, then proceed..i had the green light, she was making a right turn. she was ticketed for failure to yield.
This happens to me when running. People don't pay attention/look both ways when making right hand turns. They definitely don't pay attention to the sideway or bike path. I've almost been hit twice in a crosswalk while I had the signal.i had the green light, she was making a right turn. she was ticketed for failure to yield.
I actually witnessed something similar a few months ago. The guy on the bike was on the sidewalk, but had the walk signal. He jumped on his bike to pedal through, and a car making a right turn knocked him off, onto the median. The driver stopped as did a couple other folks. Hope you heal quickly!i had the green light, she was making a right turn. she was ticketed for failure to yield.
a lot of drivers and roads in the atlanta area are horrible wrt bikes. they are slowly making headway in a few areas, but not many.Glad you are okayish. Atlanta scares the crap out of me. I don't think I'll ever ride a road bike here.
sad to hear.good friend of mine was killed while jogging a couple years back in the Vinnings/Sminnings area after being hit by a car. You are very, very lucky
