Doss was a conscientious objector who was nevertheless willing to shoulder his share of the risks involved in WW II.
Hadn't heard about this movie. Looking forward to seeing it. I wonder how Doss made his way to Piedmont, AL? Thanks for posting.
I hope folks will learn some lessons from this story. We are not tolerant or respectful of the conscience of others so much these days. We are not tolerant of those who do not pledge allegiance. We are not tolerant of those who refuse to show fealty to the state in any way, large or small. This sounds like a great story and movie and I can't wait to see it.
