I didn't vote for Trump. I won't go into the reasons but they are similar to what many conservatives on here expressed why they voted for Gary Johnson.

But I am enjoying his victory today. Why? Because of all the whiny butt hurt I'm seeing on social media.

A 20 year old girl on my community Facebook page asked if a doctor would tie her tubes at her age. she said she didn't want to be responsible for bringing another child into the world.

A woman I went to high school with has posted anti-Trump links just about every day. Most of them were from Andy Horowitz (some comedy writer), who had a sketch of himself with some smug grin on his face. Glad that grin was wiped off.

Today she went on some long rant about how the country was full of misogynistic racists. Not sure how we have so many racists when we have had a black man elected twice with a fairly solid majority.

I also see friends of people like her commenting using language that would send me to Banville if I used it here.

Quite frankly, I think the negativity was part of the reason she lost. I did not see one post from her saying she was actually voting for her or even mentioning why we should support her rather than being against Trump. (And yes, I know most Trump voters were anti-Hillary).

So while you may not have liked Trump, you can still enjoy his victory.

I feel sad for those that are truly emotional about it.....mostly because they aren't equipped to figure out how to overcome that emotion.

The opportunists, the elitists, the intellectual snobs -- and those that are just plain nasty -- I'm loving it.....

I've seen comments about -- how people are scared about losing their health insurance....and I'm thinking....wait....what?

My insurance went from about $4k/year with a $1500 deductible to $15,600/year with a $7700 deductible.....so, basically, I have "no" insurance....and was paying 4x what I had been before....so, basically, those worried went from having "no" insurance to me paying for it, and in turn me having "no" insurance....

A guy that I know went on a rant, how we don't care about women's rights, and children's rights, and gay rights.............

Pointed out that we could do without a lecture, on those issues, when his candidate took between $25-50M, from MooseLimb fascists. That was hypocritical.

"We're done here."

Like I said...............I guy that I knew............

I'm enjoying the heck out of it. These people like the one's you're talking about here (elitist/leftists) don't have the thinking capacity to understand how a guy like Trump even won. People are tired of identity politics. Tired of being called every -ist and -phobe you can imagine for having a different point of view. Tired of being told what to think by the media and politicians.

Tired of being told that they're somehow a Grand Dragon in the KKK because they don't fall in line with the BLM movement. Tired of being told how ashamed they should be of their country. Hard working Americans tired of being told that they don't matter and only the one's here illegally matter.

People like Van Jones saying he's receiving texts from muslim friends asking if they should leave the country. Well, they can if they want to. Just like anybody else. That's the point. Everyone is free to leave if they don't like it here.

I swear I must be living in an entirely different country than what a lot of these people are living in. Because I saw this coming from a mile away. There's still so many people in this country that aren't willing to accept the socialist/globalist movement and give up their rights. Believe it or not, the majority of people in this country still believe that boys should go to the boy's restroom and girls should go to the girl's restroom. People in this country are simply not going to be told how and what they should think. Nor are you going to convince them that language somehow dictates thought.

Nobody is going to stand up there and just give this country away to muslims, illegal aliens, marxists, and communists. It just ain't gonna happen. They're gonna have to take it first.

The narrative was set the moment it was realized she was going to lose. I watched all three (ABC, NBC, CBS) and it was almost like they worked together on the script. The reason Trump won was due to the "uneducated white male". Which then turned quickly to "this was a last ditch effort at white supremacy", which led into individual somber speeches from panel members of "What am I going to tell my kids in the morning?" I had one teacher on FB post "I'm going to have explain some hard things to my students in the morning." She teaches middle school. I asked her what business did she have explaining her political opinion to other people's kids'? I was unfriended instantly.

I just wonder who all these "uneducated white males" voted for in 08 and 12? Dang sure wasn't for the republican candidate. From what I gathered a lot of white folks who voted for Obama didn't vote for Hillary. A lot of Bernie Sanders' folks voted for Trump and not Hillary. So in all of that how did we get to "effort for white supremacy"?

I believe that speaks volumes, right there.
First, what business does a teacher have spewing her politics to minors under her authority?
Second, the fact that she would unfriend you over the question illustrates very well the difference between a liberal and a leftist. A liberal would say (among adults) I support the free exchange of ideas. The cream will rise to the top and the devil take the hindmost."
A leftist would say, "I do not have to defend my ideas. You are not allowed to challenge my assumptions. I'll just take my ball and go home."

So, my question would be, what exactly did she say to her students this morning? Think she took a moment and challenged her assumptions about her right to indoctrinate students? Or did she just plow ahead?

Regarding "uneducated white males", I find it interesting that Hillary dominated the unmarried female vote, beating Trump by close to 30 points, but could only manage an even split of the married female vote with the Donald. Huge divide between married and unmarried females on how they voted.

Also, among college graduates (undergraduate degrees), Trump came close to splitting the vote with Hillary, but the vote diverges significantly in Hillary's favor among those with postgraduate degrees. Trump did well with all education brackets except the postgraduate one.

Trump bested Hillary with every income bracket except the "below $50K" bracket.

Just another little known fact about Obama care . When it was implemented every medical equipment or drug company had to pay and extra 3% tax. That caused many medical companies to downsize or be bought by these huge companies so less competition the prices of equipment increase and so does the cost of healthcare. My Obama care premium tripled for 2017. But thank god my wifes company offers healthcare so we have a 5K deductiable and only play 650.00 a month for family coverage. Thank you Obama for screwing up the system so you could give jobless people insurance. For independent contractors people who are 1099 employees. You are pretty much screwed in 2017. You cant afford to have insurance or pay insurance and dont eat.

I'm not going to lie: I'm as happy as a puppy with two peters in terms of enjoyment.

Now make no mistake: I don't like Trump and can't see that I ever will (though I AM hopeful that since he managed to do the impossible that he can apply that to governance).

But watching the meltdown is absolutely hilarious. Face it yet again folks - Hillary Clinton was nothing more than a woman who married a guy who got elected President and somehow decided that was a qualification for actually BEING President (which is about as ridiculous as Ha Ha Clinton-Dix's wife thinking she can play in the secondary - I don't even know if he's married, but you get the point).

That's all she was, and it's all she'll ever be, a monumental failure as a mother (who herself considers her child a spoiled brat), lawyer, wife, Secretary of State, and now Presidential nominee.

It simply couldn't happen to a more deserving person - and all out in the public.
