No conference championship game will still hurt them.People keep leaving out Oklahoma. If they win out and win the Big 12 title, they have just as much right to get into the playoff as other 2 loss teams do.
You are partially correct. If UM wins the game, they make the B1GCG and have to beat Wisconsin to make the playoff. If they both enter the game with one loss, the winner is in and the loser is out. If PSU and Wisconsin are in the B1G championship (both would have two losses). IMO neither makes it in if Clemson and Washington win out.
Yeah, you are right, I forgot that Michigan beat the crap out of PSU. PSU's other loss was to Pitt. Wisconsin lost to both OSU and Michigan. You are partially correct. If UM wins the game, they make the B1GCG and have to beat Wisconsin to make the playoff.
It is all about the Michigan game. Take it to the food bank.Food for thought. Potatoes. Hot potatoes. The only one that is hotter than the one that loses a CCG and is dropped out of the CFP is one that is not playing in a CCG. If TCU can be dropped from #3 to #6, then tOSU can be dropped from #2 to #5. tOSU will not be in unless they play and win the B1GCCG. Take it to the food bank!
This would make sense if it happened, but just curious, is Washington a one-loss Pac-12 champion in this scenario or do you see them losing to WAZZU and not being in the conference champ at all? In other words do you think the committee takes a 2 loss Big 10 champ over a one loss Pac 12 champ or do you think UDub blows it?Personally, I think it will end up like this:
1) Alabama (Undefeated SEC champion)
4) Wisconsin (2 loss Big Ten champion)
2) Clemson (1 loss ACC champion)
3) Ohio State (1 loss at-large))
