It is always amazing to me that the Trump bunch conducts our foreign affairs as if China would stand idly by while we fire nuclear weapons at what could be compared to their back doorstep. You're selling his supporters a little short.
informing authoritarians and their supporters that they are not the sole possessors of agency is one of man's greatest and most offensive transgressions. It is always amazing to me that the Trump bunch conducts our foreign affairs as if China would stand idly by while we fire nuclear weapons at what could be compared to their back doorstep.
Then there is South Korea and Japan who must relish the reckless talk of using nuclear weapons in their immediate neighborhood.
It is ludicrous to swing from a misguided and ill conceived romance one day to threatened nuclear annihilation the next.
Then again World War lll would certainly take the Mueller investigation off the front page.

it's hard to imagine a context in which that wouldn't be incredibly disturbing.Tell me this was taken out of context. Please...
I'm grasping at straws here.it's hard to imagine a context in which that wouldn't be incredibly disturbing.
https://twitter.com/abc/status/999756598468927494WASHINGTON — A top official with the Department of Health and Human Services told members of Congress on Thursday that the agency had lost track of nearly 1,500 migrant children it placed with sponsors in the United States, raising concerns they could end up in the hands of human traffickers or be used as laborers by people posing as relatives...
From last October to the end of the year, officials at the agency’s Office of Refugee Resettlement tried to reach 7,635 children and their sponsors, Mr. Wagner testified. From these calls, officials learned that 6,075 children remained with their sponsors. Twenty-eight had run away, five had been removed from the United States and 52 had relocated to live with a nonsponsor.
But officials at the agency were unable to determine with certainty the whereabouts of 1,475 children, Mr. Wagner said.
It is right and fitting that the president of the United States give a commencement address to a service academy’s graduating class. It is also right and fitting that citizens of the democracy for which these graduates will soon be charged with protecting point out the personal cowardice, narcissism and incompetency of the current president.
Those of us who have served in this nation’s wars owe it to our new graduates to point out how better served we would all be if in 2020 our small choices as citizens added up to one big choice — one that will deliver us a leader whose personal choices and conduct are more in keeping with the honorable traditions of our alma mater.

The FBI has obtained secret wiretaps collected by Spanish police of conversations involving [convicted Russian money launderer] Alexander Torshin, a deputy governor of Russia’s Central Bank who has forged close ties with U.S. lawmakers and the National Rifle Association, that led to a meeting with Donald Trump Jr. during the gun lobby’s annual convention in Louisville, Ky., in May 2016, a top Spanish prosecutor said Friday.
“Just a few months ago, the wiretaps of these telephone conversations were given to the FBI,” [Spanish anticorruption prosecutor José] Grinda said in response to a question from Yahoo News during a talk he gave at the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank in Washington. Asked if he was concerned about Torshin’s meetings with Donald Trump Jr. and other American political figures, Grinda replied: “Mr. Trump’s son should be concerned.”
Interesting. So like Trump Jr. was talking directly with Russian money launderers, and there are tapes.

It was, deliberately. He was speaking specifically of immigration administrative law judges. His crackdown has overloaded the immigration courts, which were already overloaded. It will require thousands more judges, which is what he's addressing. He doesn't want asylum hearings. He just wants them kicked back out of the country without a hearing. No country we'd want to be associated with does this. But, FWIW, he's not advocating doing away with the entire judicial branch. The video was edited so as to make it seem so...Tell me this was taken out of context. Please...
