Well, this probably explains some of the upgraded crazy we've been seeing lately.

Special Counsel sends wide-ranging request for documents to Justice Department

Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team investigating whether President Donald Trump sought to obstruct a federal inquiry into connections between his presidential campaign and Russian operatives has now directed the Justice Department to turn over a broad array of documents, ABC News has learned.

In particular, Mueller's investigators are keen to obtain emails related to the firing of FBI Director James Comey and the earlier decision of Attorney General Jeff Sessions to recuse himself from the entire matter, according to a source who has not seen the specific request but was told about it.

Issued within the past month, the directive marks the special counsel's first records request to the Justice Department, and it means Mueller is now demanding documents from the department overseeing his investigation.

David Brooks was in fine form this afternoon - "Economists love tax reform. To concoct a tax reform plan which 48 economists, with one partial dissent, agree will not spur growth but will grow the deficit takes perverse incompetence"...

I do think we need some tax reform I would like to have a plan that heavily benefits businesses that invest in America and is oppressive to those that just sit on money or ship jobs overseas. However, I think that now is not the time for tax reform. Wait for the next recession to do it because right now the economy does not need government intervention.

IDK. There are too many incidents where he so badly lacks empathy and/or a completely functioning brain, which say he is. Today, he started casting doubt on the authenticity of the Billy Bush tape - which he confessed to and apologized for. Many different worlds can coexist inside the cranium of him...

Edit: Directed at the "no he isn't."
