***2018 DL Jordan Davis SIGNS with Bama*** (Headed to JUCO)

I saw that when reviewing but I'm wondering if that is really an option; especially if he went JUCO due to grades. I don't know what the rules are now regarding this...
I thought he had to do 2 years.... unless something changed?

What month in 2019, though? If he gets to JUCO and graduates in time, he could get to campus in December 2019. Big difference.
He obviously sees that we have a huge need in this position and that he can contribute immediately.
When's he coming? If he went to summer school, this semester and next spring he could easily graduate and be here next August with 3 years of eligibility.
I'm thinking hes pushing hard to be on field next year instead of 2020

Hope he makes it, but every article that I have read indicate that he is a 2020 recruit. Is there room for him in the 2019 class with the number of 5 stars on your radar?
If he's as good as expected...there is always room!!! However, this is a good question...he may take the 2020 route and not play next year in JC so as to keep a year of eligibility. Several have done this...
Apparently, he decommitted last week and has now committed to tennessee.

Says he'll be in the 2020 class. Would be wise to hold off on committing anywhere until next season.
Why wouldn't he have the green light for the 2020 class? I respect your input, but that doesn't sound right to me.
Well he was not even starting, so there's that. We were waiting to see more of him before we re-confirmed his offer for 2020.
This and he was always going to be a project. Secondly we are in the lead for some of the best prospects (In high school) at his position including a legacy.
He is from Tennessee also. I assume the legacy you are talking about is Reggie Grimes son and he is the real deal.
