I've had multiple problems with Chrome on the Pro sports board. Brett reported a general fix affecting the board as a whole awhile back, and it largely fixed the problems. No problems otherwise. My os is win 10

Windows 10 IE 11 brutally slow, Chrome I don't use for that type of use, Firefox works reasonably well. I've tried running both in developer mode and I see lots of permissions errors and security warnings, but can't really claim to understand the issue.

Use Edge if you're going to use a Microsoft browser on Windows 10.

This isn't really a problem, but I've noticed that I get ads for single Asian women on the sidebar. However when I post in one of the Trump threads, it changes to meet single Russian women.

The ads were causing all of my problems in Firefox. Today I tried an ad blocker called uBlock Origin. What a difference it made! I can navigate TideFans quickly and easily with it turned on. The moment I turn it off however the ads appear and I have trouble scrolling , typing, and changing pages. I'm sure the ads are the cause of most peoples problems. Those who are not having problems may have a newer computer or a better internet connection. I still use a DSL connection.

I have a brand new computer and it does it. It's the ads like you said I believe.

I'm using a Dell laptop with Windows 10 on Firefox. I will try IE tomorrow to see if it does it on there. It only does it when I do quick reply too, not when I do a full reply.

A JavaScript conflict is one thing they're looking at...
I pulled up developer console in Chrome and Firefox earlier today. Had no obvious issues in Chrome, but it pulled about 15MB in a minute hitting a Google video site among multiple requests.

On Firefox, in one minute it pulled about 60MB hitting the same Google video sites and had serious lag issues.

Enabling AdBlock Plus on each had Chrome pulling about 15k in a minute and FF pulling about 50k in a minute. This cleared up the lag issues, so it seems to be the ads causing issues on my machine.

I meant to send this earlier today, but work got in the way. I can provide more detail tomorrow if necessary. On a side note, I've had to keep re-posting this response multiple times because parts of it keep getting lost and/or mangled. This is an iPad using Tapatalk.

...Another edit because things keep getting lost: I was using a Dell XPS 15 with 32GB RAM and a 4-core i7 running Windows 10.

Re: Kiffin's future...

I did not read the entire thread because it would take three days to view all the pages. I only have this problem on TideFans. I have not been on much lately because it is just not worth it. Hopefully someone can find out what is wrong.

Sometimes it takes so long to load I think it is locked up and just reboot.
Same here. TF has become almost unusable for me. NO issues on any other site. New comp. Webroot for virus and spybot S&D. Have tried both Edge and Chrome. Very sad as this is my favorite website :(. (BTW it was painfully slow just to post this arghh!)

We'll get something figured out ASAP - it's pretty ridiculous that some of you are dealing with this. Really wish you guys and gals would have spoken up before this thread - we can't fix it if we don't know it's broken.

Re: Kiffin's future...

Last night with adblocker off the site took 37 seconds to load. With adblocker on it took between 8-12 seconds. CNN takes 5-6 seconds. Facebook about 6 seconds. That's from start to finish, not just to where you can see or begin using.

CA, I posted on N/S on 11/21/16 about a problem I was having and apparently no one else was having a problem at that time since there was no response.

Much better today! Someone must have figured something out. I figured my computer had picked up a virus from facebook. I used to hear when you got a virus if was from porn sites but in the past few years I have gotten them from Utube and facebook. Utube is really bad for adware.

I mostly just figured it was a temporary issue since it only flared up a week or two ago - for me anyway. Was the main reason I hadn't said anything yet. I had started to post a thread when I was hearing the audio ads auto-playing but that only happened for a day or two at the beginning of it and then they went away.

Re: Kiffin's future...

As I said in another thread; if I disable JavaScript on this iPad accessing TF and typing is lighting fast, but pages will not advance by clicking the page to view, forward or backward.
