ESPN is reporting Kiffen is out as OC

ESPN has just reported that Lane Kiffen will assume his duties as head coach of Florida Atlantic, and will not call plays in the NC game Monday night.

Mods...after posting this, I saw another thread on the same subject. Please delete this one.

Wow!! Can't say that I'm disappointed, but I hope the team can adjust this quickly. Especially with a freshman quarterback, a change like this could be disruptive of the continuity on the sideline.

I had noticed that a lot of Kiffin's interviews had become sort of snarky and disparaging of Bama and Coach Saban. I wonder if that had anything to do with this...

And it might give Clemson fits in figuring out what Sark will do calling plays given certain situations. There is no film of what he'd do with this group of players.

Woke up in Tuscaloosa to window-rattling booms from either a large thunderstorm or Saban's 7:30 a.m. staff meeting.

CNS says play calling being planned during this week. so it doesn't matter that sark is in and kiffin is out. 'our players will be prepared'. CNS says 'we are who we are' in response to race davis's line of questioning.
