The Tide was greeted warmly in Tampa with wonderful weather and a great reception. It was a little weird with pirates greeting college football players, but I get the whole theme. The team was their normal focused self. This is a business trip for them. They've been down this road before.
It was a little hard as the reality of the last game, the last time some of these guys will don the crimson uniform hit a few of us. It even hit one of the players. Can't even tell you how much some of these young men have impacted me, and I'm such a tiny part of the process.
This is a special group of young men, and they will give it their all for the last time on Monday night. We are blessed to be from Alabama! Roll Tide!
