hopefully the legs aren't too sore.
Trained for a half and full on back to back days. They had to cancel the half because of thunderstorms. My legs felt/feel pretty strong since I didn't run the marathon on tired legs.

Special K's 7-Step Plan:

1. Find a way to get through the rest of my work day without going Terry Tate on anybody in the office.
2. Get all of the "noise" out of the way before gametime - eat dinner, take out the trash, kick the dog, whatever - just get it all over and done before 7 PM.
3. Lay out the ground rules for the kids - no music, no games, no dancing, no walking, no homework, no talking, and only light, necessary breathing in the family room once the game is on. Goes for you too, wifey.
4. Prepare ample quantities of fluids (non-alcoholic for me) to prevent dehydration due to stress and to soothe my "chew out the refs through the TV" voice.
5. Get ready to scream "LANE, RUN THE DANG BALL!!!" over and over....no wait, that's not right is it? Instead get ready to scream "GAWD, SARK, COULD WE PLEASE THROW IT DOWN THE FIELD ONCE IN A WHILE!" over and over again.
6. Mock Watson's "bow and arrow" move at least 8 times (once for every sack) while my family takes pictures to post on Facebook to prove that what they say about me behind my back is really true.
7. Celebrate #17 in 2017!!!!

Words you'll never see in one of my posts... :p_sad:

He da man...

Was going to join B1G n his crew at the ESPN Zone, but brought a nasty cold down w me when I flew down to Orlando on Friday, so, most unfortunately, not up for a rambunctious outing...

Will instead watch w a good friend who came down here in November 2001 to spend the winter.

Thing is, the smart gurl never came back, and has lived here ever since...

Can't imagine why she would've wanted to leave those delightful Canadian winters behind...

Just got done working. So I will have dinner made around 6. So we can eat before the game. We are just going to relax and watch the game at home with the kids.

Gurl, I'm prepared to pay big munnee for your secret to being relaxed while watching tonight's game...

When I say relax...I mean yelling at the refs...saying some not so nice words....probably saying "run the ball" and "turn your head around!" A few times. Lol

No house full tonight, just me and the wife. Will stop and get some Amberbock and hit KFC up for Nashville Hot chicken strips for the game. Get home and change into comfortable clothes and start the pregame watching.

I'll eat dinner with the family then head over to my uncles house where I watch just about every game. My uncle, cousin and I will yell at the TV, while the dogs run around the house and my aunt plays video games.

Well, if the power is back on I'll be at home pacing the floor and driving the dog nuts. Otherwise I will have to find a friendly sports bar and tear the walls down yelling to run the ball. 75 MPH winds taking power lines down all over town.

How are the crowds there overall right now? We went once in January several years ago, but it was later in the month. Crowds were nothing at that time.

Something tells me that we will not be yelling at Steve to run the ball...

I always yell to run the ball, no matter who is calling the plays. I am a ground and pound fan. I'd like to see Bama with a 20 play drive and all runs just to show the Tigers that Bama can do whatever they want, whenever they want as often as they want and there is nothing anyone on Clemson can do about it.

Just saying.
