12 Foot Alligator in Lakeland FL

They're strange creatures - they continue to grow until they die and they don't get old like most animals do.
Big, even huge, but not humongous. We get 12 and 14 footers on occasion in South Louisiana. They like a steady diet of poodles and cats, so ponds and marshes near retirement communities are a boon for the big lizards.
