There are worse things than beating bad teams on the road as your trademark in trying to reestablish a program. Instead here's a bad team beating 'Bama that shows how far uphill Avery's got to climb with the talent on the floor for the Tide. Just a flatlining of fundamentals and shooting skills...

I love our rebounding ability and our defense is pretty darn strong--but Basketball was designed to put the ball through a hoop, and we're not very good at that at all, yet.

You know a game is out of hand when a coach clears the bench and puts in all of their white kids.

Oh well, disappointing, but not a shock. We're still a year or two away from being competitive from a conference or tournament perspective.

Our basketball IQ is not too high. We are dribbling too much and not playing smart consistent basketball on either end. TO's hurt...playing hesitant. When you have all this, you will lose by 20 to anyone.

Avery needs to "decruit" about 90% of the current roster by next season. Even as so-called role players they don't rate as D1 contending caliber.
