MSU @ Bama 5PM Today

Yeah, I hope we aren't flat after a big win against UGA. Thus far, CAJ's teams have not shown a lot of consistency. We have peaks and valleys. I hope we can develop a consistently high level of play the longer he stays at Bama.
About to head to T-town for a late lunch and then going to the game. Hoping we have some postive carryover from the UGA game and not a relapse like last year when the bullies came to town - a most disappointing game to have attended.
We need better play from Ingram (he needs to stop committing the ticky-tack fouls) and one of our post men needs to step up and take control of the position. Perhaps Key's scoring prowess will become contagious and infect a few others, ha.

The team, for the overall talent level, has performed very well. I hope it continues tonight! RTR!
This should be a good game. MSU has shown a lot of improvement since the first matchup, where we truly showed physical dominance and confidence we have not fully replicated since that game. It will be interesting to see if that carries over to this game or if MSU comes out prepared for revenge.
In the Georgia game, we showed how big a difference it makes when we both get to the line and make a good percentage of the FTs. Unfortunately, our overall shooting/scoring is still a major weakness and we can't count on FT shooting to be consistently improved, based on one good game (though we can hope it starts a trend).
Without consistent scoring, defensive effort has been the key for Bama this year and if we can hold MSU to the mid 60s (or lower), we should be able to score enough to win. I think we will win a hard fought game. RTR
