    seems reasonable to me.
"Isn't it strange that princes and kings, and clowns that caper in sawdust rings, and common folk like you and me are builders for all eternity? Each is given a bag of tools, a shapeless mass, a book of rules, and each must make - ere life has flown- a stumbling block or a stepping stone." ---- Sharpe/Davidson

This caught my eye. I don't think we know how to do this yet!

I originally thought this was a Trump reference.

California does contribute $370 billion of revenue annually to the government so it's not an unreasonable request.

There's one rule of life that none if any on the left seem to have learned. Nothing is free.
I'd rather die tomorrow as a free man than live a hundred years bound in the chains of tyranny.

For those who have stood on the wall and fought in defense of others, freedom has a flavor the protected will never know.

They are so wealthy let them do it on their own. At the very least exclude anything within sanctuary cities.

As long as they have sanctuary cities, I suspect they're wasting their time asking for cash...

actually it's Alabama that needs to learn that, not California. California sends more the Fed then they receive back, it's Alabama that's the leech

Well, it's more like a carbon tax (i.e. a tax that adjusts for the real cost of something to society), but in this case it'd be called a weirdo/crazy tax.

    Definition from Wiki:
A merkin is a pubic wig. Merkins were originally worn by prostitutes after shaving their genitalia, and are now used as decorative items, erotic devices, or in films, by both men and women. The female version is usually made of fur, beaver pelts, linen or some soft version of cloth. . .
