I'd say the same is true of the entire GW hoax.

There was an atmospheric river this week. It rained and/or snowed every day.

We're still climbing out of one in central Alabama, but we are in way better shape than we were prior to Thanksgiving.

That last red patch is around Santa Barbara; it had another 1" the last two days, so maybe next week this map will have no red.

it was crazy, I spend 3-4 weeks in the Bay area every year and have since the late 90's and I've never had it rain more than a day, 2 at most and it is usually just a drizzle.

Not being snide but - are you usually there this same time of year?

I only ask because it's not uncommon for the northern half to go with 1-2 total rains from April through October but then it gets lushy green REAL fast because of all the rain.

True that it is the wet season, but NorCal for Jan was far wetter than average with many areas getting 150-400+% of normal. We went from drought to full reservoirs and flooding pretty quickly over the past few months.
