Thanks RMM, good article and pretty much the same conclusion from a thread on here not too long ago. I still cannot understand why UF and LSU didn't go after Mullen, he is a good coach at a middle of the pack program at best.

This year will tell the tale, IMO because we have no new Head Coaches. SEC recruiting is still dominating all other conferences, so we will see. Two years ago we had some coaches floundering, Spurrier, Miles and Richt. Last year we had one still floundering and two new replacements. This year LSU has a HC with half a season under his belt. I am expecting the SEC to kick butt this year.

Off season banter...quoting Farrel and his Big Ten 1b ranking kind of starts off the article poorly for me, didn't the Big Ten go 3 and 7 in the Bowl games, losing to the two SEC teams they faced.
